FORMATION OF THE PARISH PARTNERSHIP

His Excellency, The Most Reverend Edward K. Braxton, Ph.D., S.T.D., Bishop of Belleville on August 16, 2016, appointed:

The Very Reverend Mark D. Stec, V.F., Pastor of Holy Cross Parish, Wendelin; Pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Stringtown; and Pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Olney, with residence at St. Joseph Rectory in Olney.  On August 19, 2019 Pastor of St. Lawrence Parish, Lawrenceville.

In September 2017, Caroline Trimble was appointed Pastoral Associate of St. Joseph Parish, Olney; Holy Cross Parish, Wendelin; and St. Joseph Parish, Stringtown with St. Lawrence Parish added in 2019.

His Excellency, The Most Reverend Michael McGovern, Bishop of Belleville on July 20, 2021, appointed:

The Reverend Felix Chukwuma to team ministry in solidum with the Very Reverend Mark D. Stec, V.F., at St. Joseph Parish in Olney, St. Joseph Parish in Stringtown, Holy Cross Parish in Wendelin, and St. Lawrence Parish in Lawrenceville, with residence at St. Lawrence Rectory for a term of three years.

Effective July 1, 2023, Father Mark will begin a new role as Pastor of Holy Childhood of Jesus in Mascoutah, Illinois & St. Libory in St. Libory, Illinois.

​

Very Reverend Steven L. Beatty, V.G. will be appointed to team ministry in solidum with Reverend Felix Chukwuma of Holy Cross – Wendelin, St. Joseph – Olney, St. Joseph – Stringtown, St. Lawrence – Lawrenceville effective July 1, 2023.
